Home Remedies For Ingrown Hair

We often think that getting waxed is the ultimate solution to our body hair problems. But sadly it is not so, as there is something called ingrown hair which is a big hindrance in getting that smooth silky skin.  Here are some easy home remedies to get rid of ingrown hair.

  1. Baking Soda: Baking soda is rich in anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties so it gives your skin a soothing, cooling effect and also prevents itching and redness on the skin. You can mix one spoon baking soda with water and using a cotton ball rub it on your skin. Rub it all over the affected area and leave it for five to ten minutes. Then rinse it with water and repeat daily for best results.
  2. Sugar: Sugar is yet another natural exfoliator that removes dead skin and also ingrown hair from your skin. Also it makes your skin silky smooth. Make as sugar scrub by mixing one cup sugar with half cup olive oil and almost ten drops of tea tree oil. Then rub this scrub on your skin for a few minutes and rinse it with water. Do this once or twice every week.
  3. Honey: Honey is a natural moisturizer and antiseptic for your skin. You can directly apply this on the affected areas and leave it for few minutes. Then by gently massaging wash it off with cold water. Repeat this every day and you will see a smooth silky skin with less under growth of hair.
  4. Salt: Slat contains many benefits from exfoliating to cleasing to reducing redness and swelling. It has many benefits and it is also very easy to use. You just have to mix salt with water to make a thick paste. Don’t dissolve salt in water, make a paste. Apply this paste on the affected areas, leave for fifteen minutes and then rinse off with water. Do it two times daily to get rid of ingrown hair.
