There are some people who get up every morning and hit the gym but some people are a bit shy and conscious. But going to gym and working out is not a necessary prerequisite for looking good. Just by eating and right kind of exercise you can lose all that unwanted weight you have always wanted to lose. Here are a few exercises which can be done without actually going the gym.

Exercise for weight loss

  1. Walking: Walking is the best exercise you can do, it does not require any special equipments just a pair of your walking shoes. Walking can be done by any person of any age as the risk of injuries is the least. It is a perfect exercise for people with heart disease or obesity. You can base your walking time upon how much you weigh and how much you want to lose , ideally walking for 30min-45min per day can help you lose weight and also build up your strength.
  2. Running: Running is another best exercise for you to lose weight if you love running then you are very lucky as running can help you lose up to 700 calories in an hour. If you are not a runner than you can start slow by walking briskly for few minutes and then run for few minutes gradually increasing your pace. Running also increases your muscle strength and tones up your whole body.
  3. Cycling: Cycling is one exercise which will help you lose weight and prove to be effective. Cycling can help you lose a lot of calories. Unlike running cycling does not makes your joints pain and anybody can hop on a cycle and ride along with enjoying surroundings. If you live close to work you can use cycle as transportation or go to nearby markets on a cycle. This will help tone up your body and bring you closer to your dream body.
  4. Swimming: As it is summer time and being in water is the best thing. On top of that If you want to lose weight then swimming is the best workout for you, as you can lose up to 400 to 700 calories per hour. Swimming also strengthens and tones your body as it works on all the muscles of your body like legs, arms, hips etc.
